AMC Montebello 10

“This location is pretty nice, it was different than the other AMCs. The other AMCs starts off with level ground, and the seats in the back are all the way up at the top. This location, all the seats are ground level, it was different but I enjoyed this location the seats are more comfortable than the other AMCs. I would recommend this location but do not go if you are tired or just finished from school or work or a busy day, because if you're tired. It's so easy to fall asleep on these chairs. Way more comfortable than the other AMC seats that have flights of stairs.”

“Nice little or as my wife said cute movie theater. We went for an early showing and enjoyed ourselves. Seats are comfy, bathroom was clean and service was decent. If I had a gripe, the cashier wasn't the friendliest but I'm not a boomer so it didn't really offend me at all. Would come again for another matinee but I'll probably stick to norwalk or puente hills for my blockbusters.”

“I ordered food on kiosk at the time of ticket purchase when I got in at 340 for SpongeBob at the suggestion of the ticket taker. When i got in, there were 3 people in line to get food and the gal (blonde) prepping was on super turtle speed. There was no sense of urgency and while I was waiting, I saw several people who were in line after me coming in get their food. Other staff seem to see my anger and smiled politely while walking by but this gal was observing me and continued to slow walk every activity. 25 minutes later, I finally get my food. There were no drink holders, so I had to make multiple trips to get my food for my family. I get to my seat, and I realize she forgot my candy. I went back to ask and with attitude, she told me I should have gotten it on the shelf. By the way, there is no advisement on this in the kiosk dashboard to do this nor did she explain that I had to do this when she gave my order to me. How do staff even know if its not stolen if openly grabbed like this?? I get back to my seat and my popcorn is cold/stale and full of kernels at the bottom of bag. I was already fed up with the amount of time wasted and missed from movie already, I was not getting back up. I spent a $142 for 3 tickets and food that was subpar. I never want to come back here again. As a suggestion to corporate, It makes no sense to me that AMC touts to have a family environment here and yet you have no cup holders for people who have small children and need to hold all the stuff for their kids. If you're going to charge people this much, then we need to receive that value otherwise you'll never have people come back to the movies. I could have bought my own popcorn machine and made it at home and this still would have been cheaper than my movie experience at AMC. WTH!!!”

“I’ve given this AMC in Montebello two chances, and both times it was a disaster. I only came back the second time hoping the first visit was a fluke, it wasn’t. The lines are absurdly long, mostly because the staff moves at a painfully slow pace and seems completely overwhelmed. Both visits they were low on popcorn, and the last time they handed me cold cheddar popcorn that had clearly been sitting in the back. That alone tells you how badly this place is run. More than half of the soda machines don’t work, which just adds to the chaos. Once you finally get into the theater, it somehow gets worse. The seating and screen alignment are terrible the viewing angles are awful, and the screen positioning makes it hard to enjoy the movie at all. You’re paying theater prices for a setup that feels worse than a bargain basement cinema. On top of all that, the entire place is filthy. Sticky floors, trash everywhere, and an overall feeling that nobody cares about maintenance or cleanliness. This place feels like it’s being held together by duct tape and apathy. I regret giving it a second chance. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. There are way better theaters nearby skip this one.”
