1 / 3America Cinemas Houston
đ Sharpstown, TX
Budget-friendly cinema in Sharpstown Center specializing in Spanish-language films with discounted matinee and weekday pricing.
I was really pleased to use my reward points today. I paid matinee ticket prices but also saved about $10 on consession food. Today was a good savings to watch an entertaining movie. Rental Family starring Brendon Frazer.
đ Family Action Verdict
This budget cinema is best suited for Spanish-speaking families looking for affordable movie options and willing to overlook facility issues. Not recommended for families with young children or anyone with allergies due to cleanliness concerns and potential mold exposure. The low ticket prices come with significant trade-offs in comfort and venue quality.

âLet me start off by saying that for $7 tickets I definitely did not expect much and by reading the reviews. But we arrived around 8:30 pm for the last showing and there was nobody checking tickets so we literally just walked in even though I paid for our tickets online. These movies are in Spanish or Spanish subtitles so beware and they do not do refunds per the reviews. As soon as we sat down I realized how uncomfortable the seats were so we definitely kept shifting around throughout the whole movie. Right after we sat down my eyes started to itch and my nose was starting to get runny and I could smell mold đŠ So beware if you have sensitive allergies I would not recommend to sit there for and hour + The ground was definitely sticky and dirty but like I said I had already read the reviews so I was not that shocked but the mold in the air was definitely something that was not talked about in the reviews but I definitely noticed it and my spouse did as well. So needless to say this was our first and probably last time coming to this theater.â
