π Old Orchard Beach, ME
Palace Playland's massive arcade in Old Orchard Beach spans 20,000 sq ft with 200+ games including skeeball, photo booths, redemption games, a 1950s Grandma fortune teller, Zoltar, and an old-fashioned shooting gallery.
This eponymously-named arcade has 2 robots named Zoltar and Grandma as well as a shooting gallery.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for school-age kids and teens who enjoy redemption gaming and can pace themselves across a large space. The vintage fortune tellers and shooting gallery add novelty for adults accompanying kids. Younger toddlers can find the noise and crowd overwhelming at peak summer times β earlier in the day is more manageable.

βVery nice arcade. Brings you back to the 80s-90s but with updated card system instead of tickets, etc.β

βvery typical of a beach arcadeβ

βMachines arenβt well maintained. Lots of crane games and ticket games, very little in the way of non-chance based arcade games. No fighting games whatsoever, which is a major disappointment. Ventilation is practically nonexistent, midday summer heat feels like a health hazard. This is basically just a casino for kids.β
