1 / 3Baisley Pond South Playground
đ Queens, NY
Baisley Pond South Playground combines a playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, running track, cricket pitch, baseball mound, and a natural pond with ducks. Free entry with activities running day and evening.
Really cool spot for Kids and Adults. Full playground, running track, basketball court, tennis courts, baseball mound, cricket pitch, football and soccer grounds, stands, benchs and of course the Pond. Day and night there is activities happening and it's cool. Bathroom needs a little care....heck alot.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for active families with mixed-age children who want more than a playground â the sports courts, running track, and pond provide genuine variety for different ages in one visit. Families with toddlers should supervise closely near the pond and check field areas before letting small children run freely.

âBathrooms tournaments track to run around end. Be careful not to step in the duck poop in the middle of the field. When the sky is clear look it's surrealâ

Overview
This expansive Queens park runs a full complement of facilities around a natural pond: playground equipment, basketball courts, tennis courts, a running track, cricket pitch, baseball mound, football and soccer grounds, and stadium seating. The duck pond is a draw for younger children. Activities happen morning through evening. Bathroom facilities on-site and maintenance is variable. Watch for duck droppings in field areas.
