Horse riding and care programs for all ages operating out of Prospect Park Stable in Brooklyn. Afterschool and weekend programs teach children both riding and comprehensive horse care.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for children seeking ongoing riding and horsemanship education rather than a one-off ride. The programs build genuine skills over multiple sessions. Trail rides through Prospect Park are available for families wanting a single experience. Book by email or phone - the website booking system has confused some families.

“Great afterschool/weekend riding program for kids. They learn all about how to care for horses and then get semi-private lessons. Riding lessons take place indoors in the stable. The staff are friendly and organized. The website/signup system is a little confusing, but once you figure it out, communication is great. This place has really enriched my kid's life!”
