1 / 2Boulder Rock Club
📍 Central Boulder, CO
Boulder Rock Club offers top-rope, lead, and bouldering with the fastest route turnover on the Front Range — plus Tiny Tots classes for ages 4–5, youth climbing teams, after-school Climbing Club, birthday parties, and summer camps.
Routes are 10/10 and are changed frequently. Even going mostly solo there is enough turn over on the auto belay enabled routes to make it fun and interesting every time. Staff are helpful and friendly, as are the instructors. Would highly recommend for anyone at any stage of their climbing.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
One of the most comprehensive youth climbing programs in Colorado, covering ages 4 and up through to competitive team level. Tiny Tots makes BRC accessible to preschool-age kids. After-school Climbing Club suits school-age beginners through intermediates.

“I have visited many gyms and this is by far the best one. Best Routes, Best Vibe, Best People. The People at the Desk are always friendly, Everyone is nice in the Gym and it's clean. What a great place to climb, workout and hangout.”

“Great gym. Old school walls”

“I want to give this place 5 stars because I think it's the best gym in town. Unfortunately I have to take 2 away for one specific reason: It's basically a daycare from 4-6pm on weekdays. Loads of kids in big groups on autobelays and lapping bouldering routes without stopping. It's hard for me to go up to a kid to ask if I can climb a route on the wall they've been lapping so this is especially disappointing to me. If you want to use the autobelays hope and pray the kids are focusing on bouldering that day. If you want to boulder and you see the kids also bouldering just go home.”
