Dropped in from out of town. Very different from my usual bouldering gym but I loved it. Friendly people, extremely chill atmosphere. Not too many people. I went on a Thursday and they were playing climbing trivia, which was really fun but calm! The walls were a pretty good height. Setting was solid, though I wish there were slightly more climbs that really involved balancing. Day pass was a bit pricey but not absurd. But still a great experience. Will go back whenever I am in Boulder.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with older kids ready for a pure bouldering experience in a relaxed, non-intimidating environment. The beginner bouldering class is a strong first step for kids and parents new to climbing — one reviewer signed up for a competition after just one class.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Book the beginner bouldering class before your first visit — it provides structure and confidence that a solo first session cannot
Ask staff for a quick space orientation on arrival — bathroom and upstairs access are not always pointed out automatically
🎟️Friday drop-in day passes may come with a discount — confirm the current offer when you call or check in
🚗Climbing trivia nights are a fun low-key event for families with older kids who want a social climbing experience

The facility gives old-school vibes but the boulder problems are definitely all styles.

Gabby taught the beginner bouldering class with exquisite precision and care. She metered out a boat load of information at an absorbable pace. It was so well done my friend and I signed up for a comp with one hour of experience under our belts🙏🏻

Visited from out of town. After paying for a day pass (thankful for the Friday discount, I didn’t stay super long), the front desk staff didn’t offer any sort of orientation to the space. Had to ask specifically where bathrooms were, where to get upstairs… Sure I could wander and find them, but kind hospitality always feels welcoming. I appreciate a quick run down of the space when I visit a new gym and explicitly say it’s my first time there. As such, I didn’t see the signs explaining their grading system so the whole time I wondered why A) there were only low and intermediate grades, and B) why everything felt seriously sandbagged. Got frustrated feeling like I couldn’t even project halfway up my flash grade, then saw the grading sign after giving up and was leaving. Place is small, kinda dark, upstairs gym kinda dingy. They do sell beer and have a slack line, and the natural-style rock was a cool feature. Still overall not my jam and would’ve felt better to have a warmer welcome.
