1 / 3Bruce Museum
📍 Greenwich, NY
Compact museum combining high-quality art and science exhibitions for ages 6 months to 12. Features rotating galleries, a permanent Gabriel Dawe installation, an interactive ant exhibit, and an on-site café with free parking.
Beautifully maintained, big free parking lot. The front desk staff was friendly and informative. Take the stairs up so you can see the beautiful permanent art installation by Gabriel Dawe, one of the coolest visual illusions I’ve ever seen. The galleries have a great variety of art and the crystal exhibit is breathtaking! Great visit. The museum is small enough you can go through it all in an hour or two.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children ages 3 to 12 who want a high-quality museum experience without Manhattan crowds or prices. The mix of visual art and hands-on science keeps different ages engaged across a 1-2 hour visit. Take the stairs to catch the Dawe installation — it's the most talked-about piece in the building.

“Wonderful art and science museum that is only a 10 minute walk from the Greenwich station on Metro-North’s New Haven line. Loved the gallery with the artwork that was done by students from high schools in Connecticut and New York”

“LOVE this place! Considering we are in Greenwich and not NYC, this feels like a NYC museum, no joke. Amazing selection of art, science, and geodes. Good for all ages including Adults.”
