Very nice little park
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers through age 12. The clear age-zone split means younger children have appropriately scaled equipment. Parents who want to stay active will appreciate the fitness stations positioned with sightlines to the play area. The year-round restrooms make this a reliable stop in any season.

“Carey Grove Park is absolutely wonderful! The park offers so many options for play and plenty of seating areas, which makes it very convenient for parents while their kids are having fun. There are also some outdoor fitness stations so you can exercise while the children play, and even musical play equipment for kids to explore different sounds. The whole place is well-organized, thoughtfully designed, and always feels comfortable. The restrooms are consistently clean, there’s a little book box for reading stories during breaks, and the parking is very convenient. The park’s location is ideal, and I highly recommend it to everyone. I’ve been coming here for more than two years, and every visit has been a wonderful experience with my kids. Truly a park worth visiting—don’t hesitate, you’ll love it!”

Overview
Reimagined in 2020, Carey Grove Park spans 5 acres on Carmel's east side. The playground—Indiana's first musical park—features integrated instruments as exploratory play elements alongside climbing, sliding, and swinging. Three pieces of outdoor fitness equipment (two bikes, one elliptical) face the playground directly. A quarter-mile paved trail, half-basketball court, picnic shelter, drinking fountain, and year-round restrooms complete the site.
