Established in 2002 and reimagined in 2022, West Park is one of Carmel's largest parks at 120 acres. Summer draws families to the integrative splash pad with waterfalls and the adventure playground with towering climbing structures. The restored prairie maze and pond boardwalks host wildlife year-round — blue herons, frogs, crawdads, and seasonal wildflowers. Winter brings sledding down a two-story hill with a gradual walkway back up.
