1 / 3Charles M. Schulz-Highland Arena
📍 Highland Park, MN
Two full-size 85'×200' ice sheets in St. Paul's Highland neighborhood. The north rink runs ice year-round; the south rink operates mid-October through mid-March, converting to inline hockey and dry-floor events in summer.
A bit cooler inside air temp vs Aldrich Arena. Ice was in pretty good shape although there was one small (~2"X4") shallow divot (1/4" deep with rounded edges) to look out for during the Senior Skate session. Also some strange ice discoloration near that end although it skated just fine. Not crowded at all while I was there. Sharpening service was available for $10 if needed. Some vending machines in the lobby area.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of any skating ability — public open skate sessions accommodate beginners and experienced skaters alike. Birthday party bookings work well for groups of school-age children. The year-round north rink makes this a reliable option outside the traditional winter season.
