Nice place for kids

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children roughly ages 3–12 seeking a combined eat-and-play destination. The Kid Check system provides a practical safety layer for parents of young children in a busy venue. Birthday party bookings work well for groups wanting a managed, activity-filled celebration without outside coordination.

β€œI visited the Takoma Park Chuck E. Cheese location for the first time, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. I am a member, but I forgot my Chuck E. Cheese card at home. When I arrived, the front desk employee, Maddie, was checking us in. I was with my Hispanic friend, and Maddie also appeared to be Hispanic. She asked for my phone number and informed me that replacing the card would cost $2.20. I told her I had $2.00 cash and would pay the extra $0.20 from my card, but I couldn’t find the card at that moment. After going back and forth to the car, Maddie then asked me for my ID to verify my own membership. What made me uncomfortable is that she did not ask my friend for ID, only me. I felt singled out and discriminated against. The way she handled the situation made me feel extremely uncomfortable. On top of that, Maddie was rude, had a clear attitude, and showed poor customer service the entire time. I stayed calm and respectful, but the experience was upsetting. What made it worse was that her manager was standing right next to her and did nothing to step in or address the situation. Because of how I was treated, I would not recommend this location. The customer service was unacceptable, and no guest should be made to feel disrespected or discriminated against. I also tried contacting the corporate office to report what happened, but I was unable to reach anyone by phone. I left a message and never received a callback, which was even more disappointing. Very poor experience overall.”
