1 / 2Da Vinci Science Center
π Allentown, NY
Interactive science center with exhibits like Body Worlds 101, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, live otter viewing, and hands-on STEAM activities. Popular with families for educational entertainment and birthday parties.
This place is such a fun and interesting spot to visit! There are tons of hands on learning activities for kids, and even some areas that adults will enjoy too. I actually found myself spending time in a section about the brain and ended up learning something new! My daughter had an amazing time she especially loved the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse area (available until mid-January 2026). Itβs a pretty big space with plenty of activities for kids to enjoy. From the outside, the building looks small, but once you step inside and start exploring, youβll realize itβs much bigger than it seems!
π Family Action Verdict
This science center excels for families with toddlers to elementary age kids who enjoy interactive learning experiences. The Mickey Mouse exhibit (through January 2026) is a major draw, and bilingual content makes it inclusive for Spanish-speaking families. Best for families seeking educational entertainment, though some may find it's more of a one-time visit than a repeat destination.

βMy kids and I had a great experience at this Center. The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was so impressive, its my daughter's favorite and she wanted to spend all her time in that exhibit. I enjoyed the interactive and learning stations! Including the crafty one. The Sea otters were adorable π. Learning about the body and including a digestive system crawl playground was neat. I definitely recommend for toddlers they would have a great time.β

βWhat a wonder Place ! I come here with my 8yo and 2yo kids, they had a blast. The center has wonderful exhibitions, super kind staff; great and balanced food options, beautiful gift shop. My favorite thing was having ALL content in the exhibitions in English and Spanish ! Made it feel truly inclusive and I canβt wait to be back with my parents, they only speak Spanish β€οΈβ€οΈβ

βI have mixed feelings about the new center. My sonβs autistic and with his Access card we were able to get a year membership for an amazing price! He and my older son had a great time, and we will definitely be back. Parking in the spiral lot was easy and affordable. Is there enough there to entertain them time after time? Maybeβ¦especially if we take advantage of their special events. Time will tell. We do miss the old location, as it was closer and had some of our fave hands on experiences, such as the ball mover, the car, needle press, and being able to go in the Mac truck. I was also thrown off by the public bathroomsβ¦to the left thereβs a family bathroom for complete privacy and to the right a family bathroom, which just means a large bathroom for EVERYONE, so when I walked in and saw a man washing his hands I had to walk out to make sure it was in the right place. Bathroom doors are ceiling to floor, which is great, but people forget that toddlers love to open doors as moms try to go to the bathroom. That could be embarrassing! All and all though we had fun and would return.β
