1 / 3Lehigh Valley Grand Prix
📍 Allentown, NY
Indoor racing facility with a quarter-mile track where karts reach 45mph, separate junior heats for ages 8–14, axe throwing, arcade games, and an on-site cafe with brewery partnership. Birthday party packages available.
We recently hosted our son’s birthday party at Lehigh Valley Grand Prix with a group of about 20 people, and it was an absolute blast from start to finish! The whole experience exceeded our expectations. The facility is spotless—everything felt very clean and well-maintained, which is so important when you have kids running around. The party package included delicious pizza that everyone loved (no complaints there—it was fresh, tasty, and hit the spot after all the excitement). The party room itself was spacious and perfect for our group. We had plenty of room to spread out, and being able to play music made the atmosphere even more fun and celebratory. But what really stood out was the staff. They were amazing—super friendly, helpful, and genuinely went out of their way to make sure our son had the best birthday ever. They were attentive without being overbearing, and their enthusiasm made the day extra special for him and all his friends. If you’re looking for a thrilling, memorable spot for a birthday party, family gathering, or group event in the Allentown area, I highly recommend Lehigh Valley Grand Prix. The go-kart racing is the main draw, but the party setup and service make it a complete win.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for birthday parties and group events where the staff and party infrastructure make the experience seamless. The 45mph karts are a genuine thrill for kids aged 8 and up.

“What a cool place I had no idea was here for years. There's a little bit of everything, you can race cars, throw axes, there's a game room, and you can grab a beer from hang dog brewing! They are seasonal at hang dog so it was nice to know there was a place open all year long that offered their beers!!”

“Great place for a team event. They have a small bar and food when the kitchen is open. The 2 guys running the place when we were they are stellar!!! Place was very busy and they killed it. They need a raise!!”

“I don't usually leave reviews but I definitely feel like other parents need to know what to expect. I would not recommend this go-kart place, especially if you have kids. We made reservations online for three races at specific times, but when we arrived they told us they couldn’t accommodate the schedule we had already booked. What should have been a quick and fun outing turned into a 2+ hour experience just to complete three races. The worst part was the waiting. We had to wait around 40 minutes between some races, which completely defeated the purpose of making reservations in the first place. On top of that, the waiting area is extremely small, there is very limited seating, and it was uncomfortably hot while we waited. With kids, this made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, the poor scheduling, long waits, and uncomfortable waiting area made this a disappointing visit. If you’re planning a fun outing with children, I would honestly recommend looking somewhere else.”
