1 / 3Dalton Park
π Azusa, CA
Free community park in Azusa featuring a popular splash pad, playground equipment, basketball court, baseball field, exercise area, and shaded picnic zones. Restrooms, splash zone, and playground are clustered together for convenience.
Love everything about this park! -come early for parking -bring snacks and cash (corn man and ice truck pass by) -bring something to sit on (gets packed) -playground, splash zone, and restrooms (all side by side) Note: Parking gets crazy with holidays and weekends. Enjoy it! It's all free and you just need to make time. (;
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with young children who want free water play on warm days. The splash pad is the clear draw and works well for toddlers and primary-age kids. Weekdays deliver a noticeably calmer experience β on busy weekends and public holidays, parking fills fast and the park gets crowded enough to require closer supervision of children.

βVery fun park. Great play equipment. Exercise park there. Clean. Shaded areas to picnic. Has a baseball field and basketball court. The kids loved the splash pad. Not too busy. There were restrooms.β

βI really wanted to love this park because of the splash pad, but there were too many red flags. People drinking their beer. They didnβt even bother covering it and didnβt bother to pick up after themselves like if the park isnβt dirty enough. Homeless woman screaming and talking to herself while filling up her gallons of water, trash all over the place. The floor on the splash pad area needs a scrub real bad. The whole park just needs maintenance and maybe someone patrolling it? The homeless lady was screaming pretty loud and kids (including mine) were staring. I saw a man and a woman coming out of the womanβs restroom, god knows what they were doing in thereβ¦ idk if Iβll come back or recommend this park to anyone..β

βI have been taking my son here for 3-4 years now, and the splash pad is amazing!! All the kids are friendly and the homeless don't trash the place as bad as they used to. However, in Feb 2026, my son was playing on the equipment and grabbed these poles and his hand instantly was ripped open and we had to take him to the ER. It's not the parks fault, but I'm definitely going to be calling the parks dept, and avoiding the playground area.β
