“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Foothill Cinema Stadium 10 - Azusa to watch "Fast X" in May 2023. This place is perfect if you're looking for an affordable movie theater experience with some sweet discounts. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Ticketing and Pricing: Regular tickets are priced at $6.50 for showtimes before 6pm and $8.50 for showtimes after 6pm. Luxury Seating tickets have a $1.00 surcharge on top of the ticket price. Discount Sundays offer tickets for $5.00 (excluding holidays that fall on Sundays). Additionally, there is a $3.00 surcharge for 3D movies on top of the ticket price. If you purchase tickets online such as the Regency Theaters website, there is a $1 processing fee per ticket. To save a few dollars, it's advisable to buy tickets in person, although there is a slight risk of preferred seats being taken. You will need to show your tickets regardless at the concession stand in order to find out which theater you have to be in. In this specific theater, there are no kids or seniors discount for the tickets because they are already very cheap to begin with. You will not find a movie theater around the area that is cheaper than this. Parking and Accessibility: Free parking conveniently located at the front of the theater. To access the parking lot, it is one way only so enter from N Citrus Avenue, where a sign that says "Cinema Parking" will guide you. If the front parking area is full, there is plenty of free parking available off Citrus and Alosta within the Citrus Crossing plaza. Nevertheless, for safety reasons, I recommend parking at the front whenever possible. Concession Stand: Once inside the theater, the concession stand serves a variety of small to large popcorn, food, and drink options. I've attached a picture of the menu, and compared to an average AMC theater, this theater offers prices that are $1 to $2 cheaper. A large popcorn costs $9 and a large drink costs $6.75. Screen Quality and Seating: Considering Foothill Cinema Stadium 10 - Azusa is a budget theater, the screen in our Auditorium 2 provided a satisfactory viewing experience. However, the reclining seats showed signs of age and wear, with the chair coverings peeling off. This lack of maintenance is something to be mindful of. Temperature and Comfort: During our visit, we experienced some discomfort related to the theater's temperature control. The AC in Auditorium 2 seemed to be either turned off or set to a high temperature, resulting in a hot and sticky environment. It is recommended that the theater staff pay attention to adjusting the temperature to provide a more comfortable movie-watching experience. Overall Experience: Foothill Cinema Stadium 10 - Azusa offers an affordable option for a family outing, date night, or a casual movie-watching experience. While the theater has some drawbacks, such as aging seating and temperature issues in Auditorium 2, it provides decent screen quality, convenient parking, and wallet-friendly prices. If you're seeking an inexpensive way to enjoy a film for an hour or two, I would recommend giving this theater a try.”
