1 / 3Daly Ice Rink
📍 Newton Corner, MA
The Daly Rink in Newton has offered public skating since 1966. It runs 14 hours of public skating weekly, resurfacing ice every hour on the hour.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want reliable, well-maintained public ice close to the Boston metro area. Hourly resurfacing means kids skate on quality ice throughout their session. Seasonal closure in late March signals the end of the public skate calendar - plan winter and early spring visits.

Overview
Built in 1966 by the Massachusetts MDC, the Daly Rink is one of Greater Boston's longest-operating public skating venues. The rink is managed by Edge Sports Group and delivers 14 hours of public skating per week with ice resurfaced hourly - a notable frequency that keeps surface quality consistent throughout sessions. Skate sharpening uses the Maximum Edge system, the same method used by NHL Stanley Cup champions. Birthday party bookings are available.
