Visited Jun 7, 2024 -Dad took me and my brothers 40 years ago and I finally took my 7 daughter here for the first time. My daughter had loads of fun at the kiddie park and we went to the adult side for the bumper cars. I had to sit with her on the ride as she is only 7 so we paid double but it was worth it. Rides are $5 and the adult rides are $8. We bought the $50 card but it wasn't enough so we topped up a few dollars for the last rides. Overall, a great time πŸ‘ I made a video on YouTube and my handle is @wilching. Take a look and if you like it πŸ™ please like πŸ‘ and subscribeπŸ””so I can continue to bring more great content 😊

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with kids under 10 who want an authentic old-school Coney Island experience. The family-run atmosphere and boardwalk setting make it a genuine Brooklyn memory. Weekday visits eliminate waits almost entirely.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Weekday visits mean minimal queues β€” up to 10-minute waits at most
⏰Pay-per-ride cards are the better choice for mixed groups; wristbands suit non-stop riders only
🎟️Swinging cart option on the Wonder Wheel is the more thrilling choice β€” confirm before boarding
πŸš—Park operates seasonally April through October β€” check dates before planning

β€œOverall great experience. Great rides. Would recommend with family. If you are an adventurous person who likes to get on every ride then definitely get the wristband to save money. If you are not planning to sit in all rides then they have option to pay for ones you want usually ranging from $5-$8 per ride.”

β€œWonderful amusement park experience in the heart of Coney Island features the iconic ferris wheel but also many rides for all ages including the legendary Spook-A-Rama. Family-run, staffed with friendly & helpful people. A family favorite for us, for many years.”

β€œVisited Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park on a weekday in early 2026β€”walked right in with basically no wait (up to 10 minutes max at the ticket booths). It's the classic, family-run spot right next to Luna Park on the Coney Island boardwalk (Surf Ave & W 12th St), and it still delivers that old-school amusement park charm without the corporate polish.”
