Dolphin Park
π Carson, CA
Recently renovated 12-acre community park in Carson with an all-inclusive playground, musical play sections, two baseball fields, basketball court, and four picnic grass areas. Free entry.
My family and I visited on a Monday morning so it wasn't too busy. The playground is a decent size. They also have a musical section next to the playground that's pretty cool for kids to play with. There's also a boat rocking contraption and a spinning wheel. Great place for kids to burn energy. Although there isn't that much seating for parents.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children across a range of ages who want a free, spacious outdoor session. The musical play section is a standout feature that younger kids engage with independently. Active sports families will appreciate the baseball and basketball facilities. Weekday mornings see the smallest crowds.
