1 / 3East 110th Street Playground
đ Manhattan, NY
Central Park playground near East 110th Street featuring three distinct zones: interactive water sprays, a large wooden climbing structure with fire poles and overhead climbers, and tire and strap swings. Located along the Harlem Meer shoreline.
Fun playground with a postmodern flair. Very safe and fun. Geared toward slightly older kids with a sleeker design. Easily my son's favorite in Central Park. We usually go during weekdays and it's never overcrowded.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 4 and older who can handle more demanding climbing structures. The wooden design and multi-zone layout hold older children's attention longer than standard playground equipment. Weekday visits are noticeably less crowded. Bring hand sanitizer â some equipment accumulates city grime between cleaning cycles.

âVery nice playground, better suited for older kids (4/5+). The place is divided in several sections, the first one with some really cool sprinklers, the second one with an amazing wooden structure to climb and play and the last two with swings. The place seems to be recently renovated, with nice soft floor and in pretty good shape overall. There is no restroom inside the playground, but there are some right outside. There is some nice tree covering, so there is always some shade.â
