“The playground's soft mats appeared even on the surface, but there were several spots that suddenly sank in without warning. You can only tell by stepping on them — and when I did, I twisted my ankle and fell hard. The pain was so intense I couldn’t even stand up, let alone walk. Thankfully, I wasn’t holding my child at the time, or the consequences could’ve been catastrophic. After returning home, both my foot and ankle were swollen. This kind of hidden hazard is completely unacceptable and extremely dangerous.”
