We had a group of 8 people, with ages from 8 to 65, for a 90 minute falconry experience with Adam Baz and three birds. It was a fantastic experience -- expensive, but worth every penny. Adam explained the history and current practice of falconry, busted myths, and told us about his relationships with his birds -- intermingled between demonstrations of what the birds were trained to do... including having the birds fly from their perch to our hand upon command. (3 birds x 8 hands = 24 flights!) The kids were amazed and delighted. The older among us were... amazed and delighted. Somehow, Adam even managed to take photos of us together with the birds, which were, embarrassingly, much better than the ones we took. Couldn't recommend it more enthusiastically... if you are at all curious, try it!

“Adam was fantastic! I was a Zoology major at UC Berkeley, and I saw early on that Adam knew his stuff. He brought a Harris Hawk (named FOX), a Eurasian Eagle Owl (named Ozzie), and a falcon (named Lola). We had 5 people in our group, and Adam answered every question very thoughtfully. We had done animal encounters of all kinds, so we were accustomed to animals. He described the birds personalities in great detail. The weather was perfect, slightly overcast, no wind, a perfect day for falconing!! Each of us thoroughly enjoyed the day and were ready to do it all over again!!”

We all learned so much and got an amazing up close experience with 3 wonderful magnificent beauties(and the most adorable bonus pup)! “Such a fun experience! Adam was great - incredibly knowledgeable and super easygoing, he made it such a fun time! We got to meet an owl, hawk, and falcon which was so awesome! Getting to be up close with the birds and have them fly to us was so cool. I came with 3 friends and we all got a good amount of time with the birds and asked tons of questions. Overall such a unique experience and absolutely worth it!”
