Hometown Arcade - New Jersey
π Bloomfield, NY
Large Bloomfield arcade running an unlimited-play wristband model covering pinball, Skeeball, bubble hockey, air hockey, shooting cabinets, and consoles from Atari through PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
Took a day trip over to NJ to try out the local hometown arcade. It's filled with lots of vintage arcade games and even new releases. They offer a video console gaming area, if you prefer that to the arcade machines. It's $20 for all day entry. You get a wrist band and all games are unlimited. All you have to do is push start!! The manager, Izzy let us know that they promote high score pinball tournaments. They do provide a website. This place is worth checking out and spending the day with friends and family. You can come and go in case you want to go grab a bite to eat, you can even bring the food back to the arcade and eat in the little cafe area. They are the only arcade that has an in house bar that offers beer on tap and wine. Go check this place out!!
π Family Action Verdict
Strongest for families with kids aged 6 and up, especially those with adults who grew up on classic arcade games β parents enjoy the visit independently of babysitting. The all-day unlimited model removes per-game friction, making it stress-free for birthday parties and spontaneous outings.

βWe hosted our son's 8th birthday party here and it was great. It's a flat cost free play model which I like cause the kids get the freedom to do their own thing and try all the games without worrying about cost or keeping track of anything and they don't need parents to help with payment. It's a good time for adults too. Easy supervision and there's a bar in the back with a great draft beer selection. Legit better than most full bars. I could see it being a good adult-only hang too.β

βThe staff was super friendly and attentive. This is a great place with old-school games you just canβt find anymore. I really enjoyed this location and everything they had to offer. The fun decor adds to the experience, and itβs a perfect spot to bring your kids and show them what we used to play growing up.β

βThe space is super clean and cozy! Great music and kid friendly! As an adult, I love a fun drink and the dirty sodas are top notch delicious. Cool people working there. Definitely stopping by again after a date night.β
