“This is a wonderful, welcoming, and positive environment for my daughter. It’s become like a second home for us. The youth programs are thoughtfully developed, the staff are great with the kiddos, and most importantly they prioritize safety. Grace is a patient, knowledgeable, and kind mentor. We appreciate the hard work of everyone at Hoosier Heights.”

“This gym is fantastic—easily one of the best in the state. The staff are welcoming, the rental gear is clean and odor-free, and the pricing is reasonable. One thing I really appreciate is that kids 6 and under climb for free, which has made it much more affordable to introduce my children to something I love. The intro videos do a great job explaining the basics of auto-belay and safety. Just a heads-up: the orientation process has changed. In the past, staff would walk you through both auto-belay and top-rope, check your belay skills, and turn away anyone they felt wasn’t safe. Now, if you’re new to top-rope, you’ll need to request an orientation from staff. That said, the team stays attentive during busy times and is quick to help with questions or concerns. Routes are reset regularly with a good range from beginner to advanced, and the auto-belay walls are well maintained. There’s plenty of parking, check-in is quick, and while it can get crowded during peak hours, going early in the morning or later on weekdays helps. Filling out waivers ahead of time also speeds things up. Overall, I highly recommend this gym for families and climbers of all skill levels.”
