1 / 3Immersive Gamebox - Lower East Side
📍 Manhattan, NY
Private gaming rooms with touchpad walls and motion sensors. Popular experiences include Batman, Squid Game, and Floor is Lava. Minimum age 5, sessions run 30–60 minutes. Birthday packages include dedicated spectator space.
We had our son's 7th birthday here at Essex Street and it was so much fun. Shamario Prescod and team were professional and accommodating. Pizza delivery was arranged by the helpful and friendly staff. We had a minor glitch in the event and Shamario was extremely gracious with us to resolve. Most importantly the kids had a great time at a place they had never been before. Definitely check out Immersive Gamebox for a fun kids birthday experience. We want to come back and play too !
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for kids aged 7–12 and teen groups who thrive on physical gaming challenges. Birthday parties shine here — dedicated spectator space accommodates non-playing guests and staff go well beyond expectations. Bring your own decorations as the venue supplies minimal party decor.

“Overall, this was a unique, high-energy adventure that made us feel like the heroes of our own story. If you’re into Batman, escape rooms, or just want to do something different in NYC with friends or family—definitely give it a shot. Just don’t expect to take selfies inside Arkham 😅 Would go again to try another storyline! 🦇 The experience uses motion sensors, touch walls, and projection mapping, so you’re not just playing a game—you’re living it. The puzzles were just the right mix of clever and fun, and the group element made it even better. Super immersive: Lights, sounds, visuals—everything makes you feel like you’re part of the Batman universe. Team-based: Great bonding experience, even if you’re not a hardcore gamer. Worth the price: For what you get in 45 minutes, the production quality is top-tier.”

“We had an amazing experience at Immersive Gamebox. We played the Squid Game, and it was one of the most fun and engaging hours I’ve had in a while. The concept is incredibly unique, combining teamwork, challenge, and laughter in one place. The interactive games are very well designed and perfect for groups or corporate outings. The staff were friendly and made everything easy from start to finish. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a creative and exciting group activity in New York.”
