1 / 2The Gutter L.E.S.
π Manhattan, NY
Manhattan bowling alley with 12 vintage lanes, brick oven pizza, and full bar. Family-friendly until 7pm daily with supervised kids parties for ages 8+.
I wish I wouldβve taken more pictures but then again when youβre having fun, your phone isnβt in your hand! My little sister got engaged, two nights prior in the city and we had family and friends in town from all over the country. Plus, it was her new fiancΓ©βs birthday! The bar food was made fresh and delicious; we ordered several cheese sticks, chicken tenders and pizzas. The bartenders were on it! Our mixed drinks were fantastic- even though the bar was packed, we didnβt wait long for drinks at all. We did have a group of 14 and were unable to make reservations earlier in the day, but it actually gave us time to mingle, snack and socialize. Every person we encountered in this establishment from the second we walked in the door to the time we needed to return our bowling shoes was friendly, happy and truly glad we were there! My next trip to the city will definitely include a bowling night at The Gutter.
π Family Action Verdict
This is an excellent choice for families with older children who want a fun bowling experience with a vintage bar atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to make kids feel welcome, though the bar setting makes it better suited for tweens/teens rather than very young children.

βThis bowling alley was nice. I love the vintage vibes. It had games and a huge bar. The staff were all nice and pleasant. They had several tvs with different options to watch different things. The pizza was not all that but the quesadillas was good. I enjoyed the fact they had hard ciders because not many bars or establishments do. Definitely a spot to come to on a late night and just have a drink for real even if you donβt plan on bowling.β

βThe manager Deli was a real life superhero and completely saved the day when my young son and I drove two hours to catch the Squid Games experience located next door to the Gutter and found it unexpectedly closed. He saw us outside in the cold and welcomed us into the Gutter. Treated my young son like a little prince and showed him the best time. Canβt thank you enoughβwe will be back!!β

βGutter LES is the best location compared to the others. I was here last night with my friend, and Iβve also been here before last year. The staff is really nice, and the overall vibe is always great. Definitely my favorite Gutter location.β
