1 / 3Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium
📍 Jersey City, NY
Educational planetarium shows and 3D movies in the nation's largest planetarium dome. Best for school-age kids who enjoy learning experiences, though shows are mostly passive viewing.
We had great time as a family today my kids are 10 and 5 it's good place to go for a winter day The place have bathroom in every floor and stuff is very helpful all over if you ask any questions. You can bring food from home so you don't need to buy Food at the place Take into consideration that the exhibit and the I Max movie theater is cost extra Unless you buy acombine tickets Parking cost $7 and a family of four is another 109$ You can get tickets on Groupon on discount rate but they want be valid on holiday week such as this week
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with school-age children who enjoy educational experiences, though budget-conscious parents should prepare for significant costs. The live presentations offer good learning value, but those seeking hands-on activities may find the planetarium shows too passive.

“We loved the shows and the gross science was awesome! The live presentations make the real difference compared to New York Planetarium. The only problem was food. Even though it was freshly made, still made us queasy. Other than food - we had fun, would definitely recommend visiting.”

“Animal section is more exciting. Planetarium section could have more work done. Wasn’t any hands on stuff with the planets, just a thirty min show where you watch. You would think there would be more creativity for that when the planet section costs an extra $8”

“Good Place for kids. Adults have less to do by themselves.”
