Lovely park in Kings Point. The path is clear and spacious to walk through with lots of fallen trees, foliage, and wild animals that pass through. We are nature enthusiasts so it was nice to see the fallen trees cleared from the path and the life that grows from it. Picnic areas were also clean although it's only the very beginning of the warm season. I can imagine when it gets busy that parking can be tight but there a couple small lots. There were multiple bridges over creeks of which a couple seemed a bit old/unsteady although they held up. Very peaceful place - we will definitely be back.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for active families with school-age children who can handle 2-mile trail walks. The playground suits younger kids, and the sports facilities give older children room to burn energy. Families with strollers will find the wood-chip trails manageable.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Confirm which entrance leads to your target area before arriving β€” wrong-side entry adds significant backtracking
⏰Arrive early on weekends as the small parking lots fill quickly
🎟️Wear sturdy walking shoes β€” trails are wood-chip surfaced and about 2 miles long
πŸš—Bring leashed dogs β€” a designated dog-walking area is on the trail network

β€œThis is low key the best park in great Neck with the trails, Softball fields, and tennis courts Basically two parks combined steamboat side β€œKings Point Park” and β€œredbrook Park” on the Redbrook side. Trails are about 2 miles long depending on what path you take Perfect for a stroll They do have a dog leash walk on the trails as well. Enjoy”

β€œMainly forest with multiple well maintained trails. Wood chips provide a soft landing for sneakers when out for a run. It's tucked into an affluent area and has a small parking lot. Nothing real interesting to see, but an outstanding place for a peaceful run away from it all. Lots of shade and quiet.”
