βTried to come here on my birthday to win some plushies and much to my dismay theyβre running a scheme where the claw clamps down on the target then IMMEDIATELY releases it where it was picked up. No shame in the employees too offering up βfluffingβ and trying to tell me how to use a claw to βknockβ it down off the platform. After inquiring that theyβre not normal claw he doubled down and assured me itβs normal. We won 1 Minion and it was like $1 a try. $20 wasted and not worth even trying to get a refund because the experience was so awful. Iβd go elsewhere for arcade claw-focused fun.β

βWe came in and one of the employees immediately welcomed us in and started explaining the credits and the card machine which I found super helpful considering I'd never been here before. We put $20 on a card and started trying the machines. I immediately picked up a plush with the claw and as soon as I picked it up, the claw let go. I'm somewhat familiar with claw machines, and I don't mean that the claw kinda picked up the plush at a weird angle or something and it got dropped as the claw was moving. Nope. The claw picked up a plush, then completely opened and dropped it. This happened at the next several machines we tried. I started getting frustrated because the machines clearly weren't working correctly, and the employee who explained everything noticed and was like "let me know if you need me to rearrange/fluff them" then after a few more I tried and the claw still picked up a plush then opened, he said "try knocking the plush down instead of picking it up with the claw" so I replied "ohhhh so they're not traditional claw machines" and he got a little butthurt and tried saying they ARE regular claw machines. Like repeatedly insisted they were normal claw machines. Despite both my experience with the claw picking up every single plush then opening and dropping every plush mid-air, AND him literally saying to knock in the plush vs actually picking it up with the claw. Basically, these are NOT regular claw machines. If you're looking for the fun but legit challenge of claw machines, I recommend Diversions. This place is probably more aimed at kids who don't actually care about claw machines and just want plushes. Which is fine, it's just frustrating that this place advertises itself as a claw machine place.... but all the claws are literally rigged. Just not enjoyable for those actually looking for claw machines.β

Overview
Every machine at Klaw Time is a claw grabber loaded with plush prizes, making it a focused alternative to full-service arcades. Credits load onto a reusable card at the front desk, and staff actively walk the floor to assist players. The space sits inside a Blanco Road strip center and draws repeat visits from local families. Some reviewers flag inconsistent claw grip strength, so managing expectations with younger kids is worthwhile.
