1 / 3Knott's Berry Farm
π Buena Park, CA
Four themed areas covering Old West Ghost Town, Fiesta Village, the Boardwalk, and Camp Snoopy for younger kids. Adjacent Soak City waterpark included in select ticket bundles.
We know Disneyland is the premiere amusement park on southern California, but if you want to save lots of money and not have to deal with big crowds and have time to enjoy everything this is the place. I can say that because we have annual passes to both. The park has a selection of thrill rides for adults and teens as well camp Snoopy for young children. The Calico ghost town has a shopping area, and several foods stops, including drinks, bakery, funnel cakes, bbq including brisket, corn, turkey legs and ribs, and during Christmas the barn area is set up for the kids to meet Santa Claus, and to get cookies, cinnamon rolls and coffee, hot chocolate and coffee drinks with kaluha and Bailey's hot drinks. There are displays, and a working blacksmith shop. Also during this holiday season, the ghost town is full of independent arts and crafts vendors selling their goods. Honestly though, since the park was sold to 6 flags we have noticed less vendors and less food shops and other gift shops open. To us it is a tradition as we brought our kids here and now we visit for ourselves and to rekindle memories. Personally it is a bargain compared to Disneyland. Although there is a magic to Disneyland you can not deny. In all a great place to visit for a couple of days. Shop, eat and mingle around the shops. Oh btw, if one of your favorite shows was the "mystery lodge" it has been permanently closed due to the cost of replacing old technology.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for mixed-age groups β Camp Snoopy handles toddlers through early elementary as Silver Bullet and Xcelerator serve teens and adults. Dining passes deliver genuine value for families eating across multiple sittings. Season pass holders with access to all Six Flags parks rate Knott's as one of the strongest additions to the network.

βMarvelous experience! There are tons of fun rides for both kids and adults. I highly recommend purchasing the Dining Passβthe park is quite large, and having access to the variety of quality restaurants throughout the day is a lifesaver. βPro-Tips: βNavigation: Download the park app to track show times and navigate the layout easily. βUpgrades: Fast Lane passes are available if you want to skip the lines. βAmenities: There are plenty of water fountains located around the park to stay hydrated. βCharacters: Keep an eye out for Snoopy and the Peanuts gang wandering around! βParking: You can pay for on-site parking or look for street parking, but be very careful with street signs as there are many restrictions.β

βAbsolutely love it here! We have the Season passes for all Six Flags and are thrilled they added Knott's Berry Farm! The park is especially beautiful at night. Wonderful weather in So California. Meal Deals are definitely worth it! Especially recommend if you have moderate to large family. Pro tip: preferred parking is not necessary but it is a nice perk. The rides work well, very few delays. Pay attention to scheduled yearly maintenance if you have certain rides you like.β

βWe loved Knott's Berry Farm! There is so much to see and do for everyone in your party. Thrill rides, kids rides, immersive themes, classic carnival games, cute shops, and lots of food varieties! This was our first visit, and we all decided we would rather do two days at Knott's Berry Farm and only one day at Disney's California Adventure. We had such a great time and loved seeing Snoopy and the gang! ππ€πβ
