âThe views are incredible! I most loved that the trails aren't packed, like in some other spots in North LA. You get a lot of peace and quiet, I went late Saturday morning and there wasn't a lot of people and parking was easy.â

âA nicely maintained new park with nice views of the ocean and lawn area. Also a good place to park to access the Forrestal Preserve.â

âNice park with plenty of green fields to play soccer on. We practiced throwing around some disc golf when the fields were not in use. Gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean, and you can see Catalina Island on a clear day. Saw a hawk flying over the bluffs and coming to rest in a tree at the park. There are also plenty of hiking trails around if you want to go up for more views of the ocean.â

Overview
Ladera Linda Park reopened with a contemporary community building, clean restrooms, and water bottle refill fountains. The playground suits younger children, with sports courts and open soccer fields accommodating older kids and adults. Hiking trails connect to the Forrestal Preserve for families wanting longer walks. Ocean views from the park extend to Catalina Island on clear days. Rattlesnake presence on trails warrants caution during hikes.
