“I went here for a private tour and it was absolutely the best part of my LA trip! I love the animals here so much, I miss them already. The location is easy to find, plenty of parking, and lots of ubers/lyfts in the area if needed. The tour was led by a volunteer who was super nice and clearly cared about the animals. He knew all their names, their personalities, their likes/dislikes, and their histories. And the space was really clean and well kept. The best part was how friendly the animals were. Immediately as I walked in, several ran right up to say hi. There was a little goat that followed me around and sneakily nibbled on my hoodie, an adorable turkey that wanted to stay as close as possible the entire visit, and a sheep that wanted to lay its head on my lap. All the animals are absolutely heartwarming. I wish I could see them every day. If you live in or travel to LA and love animals, schedule a private tour! (must schedule in advance, check their social media) Supporting an amazing vegan sanctuary like this is very fulfilling. “I celebrated my birthday here tonight and couldn’t have picked a better place. The food was fantastic – creative, flavorful plant-based dishes. We seriously would have bought a case of the dressing and pasta sauce. But what made it really special was the peaceful energy of being around the rescued animals and seeing how content they are, not to mention the beautiful golden hills behind us. The entire experience felt calming and purposeful in a way that’s hard to describe. The team clearly care deeply about what they’re doing, and that energy is contagious.
