The drink was 80 percent alcohol which I appreciate but definitely could have been mixed better as a cocktail. The hostess was nice, the DJ was jamming, and very in tune with the audience. Parking in the garage rates at $20 per car for 2 hours or more.”

“I had a very disappointing experience at Lucky Strike Hollywood. I ordered three basic mixed cocktails (pineapple and tequila) and three bottles of Heineken. Later I realized I was charged twice — a total of $140. I made the mistake of not taking a receipt because I was talking at the bar and trusted the staff. The bartender’s name was Alina. After noticing the double charge, I called the location and spoke with a person who said he was the manager. He told me there was nothing they could do without a receipt. I called again and spoke with another person who said she was the manager, and the response was exactly the same — no attempt to check their transaction records, no effort to verify the charge by date and time, and no willingness to help. What made the situation worse was the attitude. When I said I would leave a negative review and escalate the issue, she noticeably, cheerfully and in a dismissive tone, said, “Okay.” Not a single apology. Not even a basic attempt to show concern or offer to look into it. That alone says everything. Mistakes can happen. Double charges happen. But the complete lack of accountability and dismissive response from management is unacceptable. Very unprofessional handling of a billing issue. Be careful and always ask for your receipt.”
