1 / 3Lucky Strike Moorpark
π Moorpark, CA
Modern entertainment destination with 40 bowling lanes, vibrant arcade, and dining options. Popular with families who have older kids and teens seeking a contemporary bowling experience.
Lucky Strike is a popular bowling alley franchise that just recently opened up in Moorpark about a month and a half ago. The space is fresh and has a zing to it. Everything is still very new, up to date, and definitely gives a modern vibe as opposed to the more tired, ramshackle feel of bowling alleys of Yore. It has a very Dave and Buster's vibe to it, except with bowling included. The food is good and definitely ups the entire game of the area. Try the drinks, they have tasty specials, as well as a fish bowl that needs at least four id's to consume it. The bowling is fun also, charging for every hour to an hour and a half, plus shoes will run you about one hundred dollars or more. If you want a fun time to hang out, this definitely falls right up your alley.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with older kids and teens who want a modern entertainment experience combining bowling, arcade games, and dining. Budget $100+ for a family visit including bowling and shoes. Service can be inconsistent, so manage expectations and focus on the entertainment value rather than premium customer service.

βWow! Wow! Wow! I absolutely enjoyed this place and can't wait to return! And the games are so much fun! They have something for everyone! I even rode the motorcycle game into thr night, then played a round of basketball! Wow!! Games! Games! And more Games Galore!!! Wow! I loved every moment! The Reps are friendly... and the food looked, delicious! The gaming area is large, with plenty of games to keep the kids entertained for hours! I highly recommend this place. Five stars!β

βFun place to come and hang out with friends, food and drinks are great and the pizza & pitcher combo is a good deal, definitely recommend the hot honey pepperoni pizza. For those who are a bit more serious about bowling the strings may be a point of contention, I personally don't find them unusable as some people make them out to be. The bigger issue is usually lane condition as most often then not there is barely any oil on the lanes by the end of the night. Overall a fun place to bowl and have a bite or drink and still be able to catch the games at the same time. If lane maintenance was more consistent, it would definitely be a 5 star experienceβ

βl ordered a pitcher and Leslie a torta server asked for IDs which was fine but when I ordered another pitcher later, it sat on the counter after being poured for over 10 minutes. I went up to the bar and l asked if it was mine she said yes, but I couldn't take it because she had to ask for IDs despite already asking for everyone's IDs at the table earlier. She was not busy she was gossiping with another coworker. So I took the pitcher I paid for that again was sitting at the bar poured for over 10 mins with no one rushing to help or take to my table. After immediately three people came to help where was all this help, care, and effort when I initially ordered the second pitcher. We spend around $250 dollars here tonight with no urgency they forgot someone's order already. When all the managers came to scold me, l immediately asked for the employees that came for their names, I was met with "Are you okay, are you okay" multiple times and I said yes I'm okay what is your name Jocelyn with the shaved head on the sides ignored that question but kept asking if I was okay very condescendingly. No regard for what our issue was as a customer just that I took the pitcher that I paid for. Later someone who wasn't me tried to order another pitcher and they refused service. I can't believe a business in moorpark which was dead on a Monday would do this to a customer who spend more than $250 in a night, will not be coming here again...β
