Mark Twain Pool
๐ Southeast Yonkers, NY
Outdoor swimming pool primarily used for competitive swim meets. Parents consistently report cleanliness and organizational problems that make it unsuitable for recreational family visits.
Adrenaline to the max with the meets! You will love the fun and energetic environments when our young swimmers are completing! Love it.
๐ Family Action Verdict
Best suited for competitive swimmers who must use this facility for meets, but not recommended for recreational family visits. The energetic competitive atmosphere can't overcome serious cleanliness and maintenance issues. Consider this venue only if required for swim team events.

โNice big pool but itโs not very clean and there isnโt much place for people to sit on the side who arenโt parentsโ

โPlace very small and not organized at all every meet is last minute changes. Doesn't start the meets on time. It is extremely hard to find parking. Doesn't have any kind of access for handicap people to get to the spectator area.โ

โWe had a swim meet here, and let me just tell you how bad it was. The prices for the drinks were so overpriced and they were constantly out of stock. The pool was closed for some time because of its toxicity levels during the meet. In addition to all this, the locker rooms looked like a fist fight was happening. The lockers were broken ๐ก and the pool deck was ๐คฎ! There was a slimy brown liquid throughout it and some crushed peanut M&Ms were there too. Horrendous experience!โ
