This is a nice park with more quite a few playgrounds, sprinklers, and basketball courts for children to play. There is also a pair of restrooms.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children of various ages who want a reliable, clean playground with diverse activities including basketball, playgrounds, and summer sprinklers. The multi-level design accommodates toddlers to teens, though parents should supervise closely due to occasional inappropriate adult presence and some maintenance issues like concrete cracks.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Bring bikes, scooters, or skateboards - there's a good concrete area for riding
⏰Visit in summer for sprinkler fun and consider bringing water balloon supplies
đŸŽŸī¸Be cautious with small wheels on scooters due to concrete cracks in some areas
🚗Expect limited swing availability during busy times

“simple playground. it has a basketball court on the upper level and an open concrete area where the kids ride skateboards or their skier scooters. They could rollerblade too, but I'd be careful because there are some cracks that are not super easy to go over with small wheels. Down the ramp, there's a bathroom đŸšģ. One for males one for females. There's a swing set for infants/toddlers and for bigger children/adults. There are benches and 2 jungle gym sets. (Even with little slides) There's hopscotch too! Kids ride their bikes too and play a little bit of football 🏈 though it's concrete, no grass. There's a sprinkler in the lower area in the summer and water fountains on the upper and lower levels (water balloon fights anyone?) I take the kids here when they visit. We bring our own things since they're a bit big for the slide and stuff, but too small to get in on a game of basketball. (There are usually teens playing, and the hoops are full height) I don't see alcohol bottles littering the ground or any needles etc. It's clean. They have garbage bins nicely placed and it's easy to throw out your trash. People clean the park too, so I don't worry when I take the children here. There is a mat where the little kid play area is, but only surrounding the jungle gym sets, not everywhere, so it's pretty safe for toddlers too. It's not the biggest, most beautiful park out there. I've seen better ones with more things, but it gets the job done and the kids have fun, so that's all that matters.”

“Always clean but seen a few rats running through the bush (life of NYC) in the playground, parents need to watch their children but that's everywhere, there aren't enough swings but during exhausting times it's convenient and good enough for a few hours of play especially during the warm weather in the sprinklers, on the upper level basketball 🏀 and soccer âšŊ areas are usually occupied but there's enough space for my little one to ride around the area on the scooter.”
