1 / 3Marsh Street Nature Park
π Elysian Valley, CA
A clean neighborhood park in Los Angeles adjacent to the LA River bike path, featuring outdoor circuit training equipment, open green space, a small playground, and an EV charging station. Free entry with parking on-site.
Went looking for Public art and stumbled on this beautiful gem of a park. Plenty of parking. Lots of exercise machines in really good shape (i.e. no graffiti). Lots of open spaces to throw a football or toss a Frisbee. Skate Park is at the edge of the park. Park is parallel to the bike path that runs along the LA River. It's like a corner neighborhood park, will definitely be back again.
π Family Action Verdict
Families with older kids and teenagers who want active outdoor time rather than traditional playground play will get the most from this park β the bike path access, open fields, and exercise equipment suit that age group well. Younger children can use the playground, and the equipment count is sparse.

βAlways love coming down here to take a walk, sometimes alone sometimes with my pup. I love how calm and chill it is here specially during sun down. I highly recommend it if you just want to take a nice stroll or nice bike ride. The wildlife here is pretty cool.β

βThis is not for the park itself which is not bad. It's small. But the location is why this is being mentioned. It is by the LA river which had a nice bike path going next to it and few restaurants along it. So, is it's a good day, and that can be said on most days, it's a nice walk or bike ride (with bikes available to rent at the spoke restaurant)β

βItβs clean, and has a dirt path around the outside with circuit training devices and clean bathrooms. It also has a ChargePoint station if you have a plug in electric car. Itβs a great little picnic nook and it has an access point to the LA River. If thatβs all you want in a little neighborhood park, then this park is great.β
