1 / 2McGuane Park Pool (Indoor)
π Bridgeport, IL
Indoor pool with highly praised swim coaches offering quality lessons with low student-to-teacher ratios. However, inconsistent scheduling and unclear pool rules can lead to wasted visits for casual swim sessions.
My daughter has been taking swim here for several years! We adore the coaches! Coach Daniella and Evelyn really make you feel at ease and of course Coach Martin is the best! I also love the student to coach ratio. These classes are high quality! They truly taught my daughter.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families seeking quality swim lessons with excellent coaches who provide personal attention and low student-to-teacher ratios. However, avoid relying on this pool for casual open swim visits due to frequent schedule changes and inconsistent enforcement of pool rules that can lead to wasted trips.

βGood facility, lifeguards on site. Fairly clean lockers. Things are a bit run down but everyone was nice to each other. Lifeguard is here at all times.β

βI came to McGuane to get a pool schedule. None were available. Someone came out of pool area to talk to me. Senior Water Aerobics & open swims π are not available. Doctor advise their patients to go into the pool. Which helps many ailments older people have. A little Disappointed.πβ

βMy family and I attend βOpen Swimβ on Sundays from 11am-12pm as the schedule online states and we are able to go to the deep end. We decide to come on a Thursday from 3pm-4pm for an βOpen Swimβ and we are told we canβt be on the deep end. I notice 1 person performing lap swim. We then ask one lifeguard why we canβt be on the deep end and they proceed to ask another lifeguard if we can do a swim test before getting on the deep end. The lifeguard says no and tells us we simply canβt with no explanation. 20 min later, 2 people show us and get in the deep end not performing lap swim and they were not told anything. If there is a time for lap swim, they should not be performing lap swim on open swim hours. Very disappointing. We also donβt live near the area, time wasted.β
