1 / 2Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA)
đ North Alamitos Beach, CA
MOLAA presents rotating contemporary and traditional Latin American art across five galleries, with a tranquil outdoor sculpture garden and a gift shop featuring works by Latin American artists. Children under 12 enter free.
I appreciate that they had a reduced $7 entry fee due to 4/5 galleries being closed at the moment. Friendly staff. If I lived here, I'd go read in the tranquil sculpture garden. Pretty jewelry, ceramics , and textiles in the gift shop as well.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 8 and up who have an interest in art, culture, or Latin American history. The compact size makes a focused 1â2 hour visit achievable without fatigue. Younger children who need interactive or hands-on exhibits will find the gallery format too passive.

âGreat smaller museum. Not sure how often they rotate the exhibits. No flash photos or recording allowed. Staff was helpful, and gift shop features some Latin American artist works.â
