1 / 3Children's Playground
π Bluff Park, CA
Unique beachfront playground featuring rope climbing towers and tall slides, perfect for adventurous families with kids 5 and up who love climbing challenges.
It is now 2024 and the swings are gone and the yellow tower has one section that broke and is now zip tied to the structures with a lot of zip ties. It has been zip tied for months and is still being continuously used by the public. I was there over Fourth of July and the blue tower was fenced off. The yellow tower was still open. I love this playground. Climbing the yellow rope tower is a little scary, but fun. The swings are big round saucer swings. I love to watch the seagulls flying around from up high. The blue tower is safer than the yellow tower. The slides are fast, unless I slow myself down with my feet. I have played on both structures, but I like the yellow one better. I ride my scooter here, so I have to remember to take my helmet off before I start climbing. Their is a cement bench near the bike path for taking breaks. I come here with my mom and our two dogs. I am twenty years old and I am planning on never stopping having fun on playgrounds as long as I am not injured. I have seen adults and teenagers climbing also while I am here.
π Family Action Verdict
This beachfront playground is perfect for adventurous families with kids 5 and up who love climbing challenges and aren't afraid of heights. The rope climbing towers and tall slides offer a unique experience right on the beach, but parents should be aware of ongoing maintenance issues and limited shade. Best avoided for families with very young children or those seeking traditional playground equipment.

βA playground on the beach! Rope climbing is the only way to get to the big slides. Best for older kids 5 & up. Bathrooms are right next to it and there is a small cafe on the other side.β
