4.5 stars. We are frequent customers of Nana’s in Little Neck, and we were glad to have found out that they opened a new location in Jackson Heights. We are always looking for new places to take my niece and nephew, so we booked it to the new location to check it out. What a space! It’s huge, clean and with many enclaves to discover. Unlike the Little Neck location, where the space is recommended for kids up to 6 years old, this one in Jackson Heights is geared towards slightly older kids. I would say that it would be good for kids 2 years old and up to 12 years old. I probably would think twice about bringing babies under 2 years old here. There’s not really any areas geared for them at this location. We decided to pay for one hour of open play ($15) and that one hour flew by. There’s a huge ball pit area with three side by side slides. There’s a bouncy house in the back, a play kitchen, a play grocery store, a dress up area with costumes and a couple of swirly slides, just to name a few. There’s also a nice area with tables and a couch for families to grab snacks and rest. The front desk sells some items but unlike the Little Neck location, the menu here is limited. Right now, they only sell water, milk, juice, and a few snacks (Oreos, chips, etc.). There is only one bathroom that I saw but it was quite large and had a changing area and foot stool for kids to reach the faucet when washing hands. Prices are slightly cheaper in the Jackson Heights location and there seems to be more staff, which I really liked. They had a couple of people at the front desk and a couple more walking around cleaning. I did think that the space could have used some more childproofing which I also mentioned to the staff at the front desk. There are some corners that should have had padding or corner bumpers. I saw a few kids running and hitting the corners. Also, there were quite a few open outlets that should have had covers on them near the play areas. I really like this section of Jackson Heights. There are so many food options to choose from after a long day of playing. The only drawback is that it’s really hard to find parking here. If possible, I would recommend using public transportation instead. Overall, we loved this new Nana’s location and will be back again.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

This is an excellent choice for families with kids aged 2-12 who want a spacious, clean indoor play experience at reasonable prices. The facility offers diverse activities from ball pits to dress-up areas, making it ideal for mixed-age groups. However, families with babies under 2 should consider other options as this location lacks areas for very young children.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Best suited for children 2-12 years old; limited activities for babies under 2
⏰Use public transportation if possible as parking is very difficult in the area
🎟️One hour of open play costs $15 and tends to go by quickly
πŸš—Limited food menu available (water, juice, basic snacks only)

β€œSecond time visiting this indoor playground! My son and nieces enjoy the whole place since it’s big and has many different activities for them to explore. The best part about this is the long slides they have here.”
