From the moment we reached out, the team understood how important this surprise was to us and worked tirelessly to help us coordinate every detail within a very tight window. With over 30 guests attending, we needed flowers arranged, tables and chairs moved, food delivered, and everything set up discreetly—and they executed it all flawlessly. The staff put together a detailed plan, communicated clearly, and made sure the moment unfolded exactly as we envisioned. The surprise went off perfectly, the atmosphere was magical, and our entire family was beyond satisfied with how beautifully everything came together. “We got the last ride at 3pm with platinum tickets. The platinum car is beautiful and spacious, especially went we got it all to ourselves. Even if the car was filled, there were a lot of space. Outside was lesser than 30 degrees, but inside was nice and cozy. The ride was smooth because it was slow. The whole trip was about 45 minutes, but it felt like we just got on. We had food and drinks service. Our server was a very nice and helpful lady. For food, there were pretzels in half's and assorted chips. For drinks, the usual sodas and fruits. They serve a good variety of alcoholic drinks. No cash, must use credit card. There was not much scenics. But riding the train during the overcast day with a bit of snow on the ground gave me a bit of transport to a different time and space. Parking requires credit card to get in and payment on the train deck.”

“A good place to spend some time with family, just depends on what you are expecting from the trip. If you do not have small children I would suggest to take the trip before 1:30 or after that, the one at 1:30 was completely booked and had plenty of small children. This way you will have a space on the train and less people around you. If you would like to have a date, go for the first class ticket. And if the weather permits go for the open windows space, you would see more. Booking in advance is a good idea only if you know what time you need and which class you want, if you are not sure, you can do it right there at the station. Also, if you have the whole day, then you can visit both places, New Hope in PA and Lamberville in NJ. I love both and can spend hours there, especially if you come before Halloween, so you can enjoy tge decorations.”

The whole town is soaked in history and antique charm — it feels like time has stopped here. 🕰️ And the bridge over the river is something special! Right in the middle, you actually cross from Pennsylvania into New Jersey – such a cool feeling to stand between two states! 🌉🇺🇸 A must-visit spot for anyone who loves history, trains, and authentic small-town vibes. ❤️”
