Northridge Park - Main Playground

“Beautiful park, I liked the cleanliness, several slides and several basketball courts!”

“Small but a very nice playground, well kept and has plenty of parking.”

“Really fun equipment at the playground, but some graffiti vandalism, dirty bathrooms, and gopher hole filled sports fields. Overall my kids enjoy it, but as a mom, I see the hazards more than they do. Has all access swings for children with special needs (see photos), but lots of the other equipment is designed with a ninja warrior/parkour style and wouldn't be for all access children♿. There's a smaller gated playground as well for little ones that's nicely shaded by very tall trees in the morning. For adults and older kids/teens there's basketball & tennis courts, outdoor workout area, baseball field, and several other available fields to accommodate sports. In summer time there's a pool with a water slide and splash pad, but it is currently empty since it's more out of season. May include fees to use the pool area, but I don't know since it's closed right now (I took pictures of it a couple weeks ago before it was drained).”

“Decent playground. The appartuses are ok. One seems older and more traditional (slides) and another has a lot of things to climb on. The latter is for older kids. There is sand, which is a bummer. There is not much shade and not many places to sit right near the playground.”
