My son and two grandchildren took a ride this morning at 10 o’clock and we were over the moon about the experience. The horse was beautiful and the guide was fun and very knowledgeable. He was quite serious as well about the care and love of his horses. We are 100% in agreement that the horse and carriages should stay in Central Park as a vital part of New York culture. I am hoping that my grandchildren’s children will have this experience when the time comes. It was memorable in every way.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families wanting a distinctly NYC experience that is educational, unhurried, and genuinely engaging for children of all ages. The guides adapt their narration to the group—historical for adults, interactive for kids. Twilight and evening rides are particularly scenic. Watch your step at the pickup zone.

Ahmet was GREAT! My daughter and I scheduled a carriage through Central Park during twilight. We were surprised and thrilled to be with the most beautiful carriage, horse and outstanding Coachman. Ahmet was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Gave us history of the park and was willing to accommodate any stops. Super convenient and first class experience.

Highly recommend this business for your carriage ride through Central Park. Ahmet was approachable and kind. He called us early to see if we wanted an earlier time. He kept in contact with me, while we navigated through NYC to get there. He took adorable pics of my family. He offered me a water, when I could not stop coughing. He gave me and my children carrots to feed his horse chocolate. That was exciting for me because the kids always get to do the fun stuff and parents get left out, ya know sacrifice, Lol. But he included all of us, which was nice! Just an all around great experience!

We had the best experience with our driver Ahmet and his horse Chocolate! I highly recommend booking his carriage ride service while visiting NYC! It’s a great way to see Central Park and it’s so beautiful at night.
