Olive Recreation Center
π Burbank, CA
Large recreational park in Burbank with a recently remodeled train-themed playground, multiple baseball diamonds, picnic areas, bleachers, and extensive parking. Open outdoor space suits all ages.
Great park to play PokΓ©mon Go in! Ample parking & very big / spacious. Itβs also fun to watch baseball games when itβs in season from the little bleacher sections they have set up at each field. Many parks donβt have a ton of places to sit but you can always find someplace to sit here (bleachers, benches, picnic tables).
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids who play or watch baseball, and for younger children who want a recently updated playground in a spacious setting. The sandless playground surface stays cleaner after wet weather. Restroom quality has declined according to recent reviews β plan accordingly for longer visits.

βOLIVE RECREATIONAL CENTER it's a great place to go with the family and friends, you can take your kids to the playground or you can put them in a baseball team, it's a big park, a lot of parking spaces, and looks so nice and clean; you can enjoy a great time doing a picnic with your family or friends.β

βThey recently redid the playground area. Itβs very nice and clean, with a cute Train theme. There is no longer sand, so itβs good for visiting after a rainy week. There are bathrooms and picnic tables, plus plenty of benches for parents.β

Overview
Olive Recreation Center spans a large Burbank footprint with baseball diamonds, a recently renovated train-themed playground built without sand (suitable after rain), and extensive picnic and seating areas including bleachers at each diamond. Parking is abundant. Restrooms are on site, and recent reviews flag cleanliness notes. Open green space works for free play and spectating baseball in season.
