“Place was understaffed and the one person they had working seemed to care more about telling us we were wrong about everything than helping us enjoy the experience. One of the items didn’t work like it was supposed to, the host brought in a different tool to make it work and spoke down to us about how it was meant to be hard - wouldn’t have been hard if we had the tool she had either. Requests for clues took too long for responses and sometimes the responses weren’t helpful - like just telling us the puzzle we were working on can be tricky. Offered us gift cards for another bad experience but we live far away and won’t be returning. The experience had three rooms, two of which were interesting, so if the host had been helpful instead of a know-it-all, I probably would have given this 3-4 stars.”
