1 / 3Otto C. Pehle Playground
π Saddle Brook, NY
Well-maintained playground in Saddle Brook featuring newer equipment, a large pond with ducks and geese, paved bike and scooter paths, real restrooms, and picnic areas. Connected to the six-mile Saddle River trail.
The family went here for the fireworks show on July 3rd. In the dark I can tell this is a nice park and I want to bring the kids back during the day so we can lounge around and picnic by the little lake. It looked clean (even though it was crowded) but a polluter will always be around to throw some form of garbage on the ground rather than a trash can and that will never change no matter where u go
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want a quality playground combined with wildlife watching and trail access in one stop. The pond, ducks, and paved trail extend the visit well beyond the playground itself. Restrooms and picnic facilities mean no need to rush. Works especially well for bike and scooter outings along the Saddle River path.

βGreat park and playground. A huge pond with ducks and geese. A paved path to ride bikes and scooters. The playground is set back from the parking lot. It has real bathrooms and lots of benches. The play structures are newer and very good fun. Give this park a try!β

βNice , but small, kiddie jungle gym playground area in the Otto Pehle section of Saddle river park. The playground is located adjacent to the six miles long bike and jogger pathway that meanders along the Saddle River. It's just steps away from the parking lot, picnic table area and rest room facilities.β
