There is also a small shop next door with picnic tables. Plenty of seating in the playground with a boardwalk around the exterior of the playground in the fence that’s perfect for walking while the children are playing.

An excellent free outing for families with children across multiple age groups. The separate toddler and big-kid gym sets mean siblings of different ages can each find something challenging. Pack a spare set of clothes — kids immediately want to kick off their shoes and dig in the sand.

“A playground on the sand! it is so much fun, the little ones just want to take off their shoes to play in there. This playground is well kept. There are two big sets of play gyms. One for toddlers and one for bigger kids plus a geodesic dome.”
