Georgia Ave Park
π Long Beach, NY
Free community park minutes from the beach featuring a splash pad, a section sized for younger kids, and a larger jungle gym. Ocean breeze keeps it cool on hot days. Parking is tight on summer weekends.
This is a place we go to more than anywhere else during the summer. This park is located within five minutes from our house. There is a nice playground with a sprinkler park. Even on the hottest days this place always has a breeze accompanied with mist from the sprinklers. Feels like vacation here. Sometimes you will have to park a block away. Also itβs on a busy street. You really feel the beach town vibe here. This place is small but is good quality. The problem is there isnβt a bathroom. We come here all the time is the summer. Nice ocean breeze here.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 2β10 who want a compact beach-town playground with water play built in. The ocean breeze and sprinklers make it genuinely refreshing on hot days. Families who need reliable bathrooms or easy parking should factor those gaps into their plan.

βSmall but great nabe park. The water sprinkler part is a big hit with the stroller crowd. There are shaded tables but you may have to share. The ground is that playground soft stuff. Go before you get there- there is a single heavily-used porta potty.β

βGreat park. Has a splash pad, a smaller section for younger kids, and a larger jungle gym for the older kids. Small in size, but plenty for kids to do and much easier to keep an eye on them. Can be hard to find parking on the weekends in the summer.β

βMy kids loved this playground, it was super clean, colorful and a good atmosphere. It was warm so we played in the water and climbs on the frames. We enjoyed it because we could also have our breakfast seating on a table .β

Overview
Georgia Ave Park sits within five minutes of the Long Beach shoreline and draws a steady summer crowd with its water sprinkler zone, age-split play equipment, and consistent ocean breeze. The playground uses soft-surface ground cover. Shaded tables are available for meals. The only bathroom is a single porta potty. Beer cans from nighttime use occasionally appear in the morning β arrive early for the cleanest conditions.
