1 / 2Peter Weber Equestrian Center
π Rolling Hills Estates, CA
Rolling Hills equestrian center offering horse and pony rides, petting zoo with alpacas and goats, hay rides, and comprehensive birthday party packages with country decorations.
I had my daughter's 4th birthday here on Sunday. It was cowgirl/unicorn theme and the venue was perfect. When I arrived, the place was decorated already, I brought banners and a birthday tarp but I didn't have to use it bc everything was set up-table covers, balloons and my daughters name already on the wall. Not exactly the color themes I was going for but honestly it's a load off your chest. The pony was dressed as a unicorn and the kids all got a turn riding. I thought the hay ride wouldn't be worth it but I was surprised to hear how much the kids loved that experience. I can see how the owner and staff really takes care of the animals. The pony the kids ride was 30 years old. There was a tortoise just casually roaming the grounds while the party was going and it was so amusing to watch. Who knows how old that one was. There are staff the whole time, manning the gate and ensuring all is well with the animals and kids at the petting zoo. The area is decently shaded with trees around the eating area. There's a handwashing station with soap and papertowels. There was a rope ready to go to hang our piΓ±ata. The guests all had a good time and most especially the little ones. I don't understand the bad reviews, booking to party turnout was all around a great experience.
π Family Action Verdict
This equestrian center is excellent for birthday parties and school field trips, particularly for kids who love animals and hands-on experiences. Best suited for children ages 3-10 who enjoy petting zoos, pony rides, and hay rides. However, be prepared for potential inconsistent customer service, especially for drop-in visits.

βMy daughters school made a field trip to this wonderful equestrian center. The kids enjoyed petting the animals, riding Cooper and going on a hay ride. The employees were very fast to clean up every time an animal pooped. The kids enjoyed the outdoor picnic area. It featured a little hut with giant bunnies, a slide, 2 barrels with ornate saddles, a jail, picnic tables and a hay bale area.β
